I think that Leadership is...
I think that leadership is standing up for the people around you. Like leading your football team by being the capitan and encouraging all of your team to do there best. But to get into a position like that you need to show respect to your team so they know that you are a trust worthy person that can actually lead a team or group forwards. My example for this would be Giorgio, he was the captain of my football team this year and he always did his best to raise everyones spirits and no matter what happens he would try his best to stay positive. To sum it up I think that leadership takes someone that trust themself and the people around them, and is willing to take the role of a leader.

The Jewish People and the Jewish Religion
The other day my class (10I) watched two videos about Judaism (the Jewish Religion) and the Jewish people. Some things I found out were
There are different types of Judaism. Orthodox Jews follow stricter rules, such as worshipping in synagogues that have separate areas for men and women. Progressive Judaism has adapted these stricter rules for the more modern age, with men and women being allowed to worship together.
One thing I thought was interesting was
The way Orthodox Jews Seperate the different genders.
I would like to find out more about
The Religion and the other rules they follow. Also if the different rules between Orthodox Jews and Progressive Jews.

Sad Joke on a Marae
In English we read a poem called Sad Joke On A Marae by Apirana Taylor. This poem is about a man who has lived his life never knowing much about his culture and he doesn't know how to speak his ancestors language. The only Maori he knows is Tihei Mauri Ora.
The picture I made is based on the things he says in the poem.
