Otaki Youth Centre

 This week on wednesday a team of people from the KCDC to talk about builing a Otaki youth centre.

They sorted all of us into four groups and moved us to different stations. At the stations there were different question that we had to answer like what we want to feel like when were inside the youth centre.

They asked us to answer these two question

1. Where should the centre be?   

2. and how do you want to feel when your inside the centre?

2. My Answer: Safe happy and like I'm having fun

 

Tapa Art

 This week my class deicided to make some Tapa Art work for Tonga Language. We used brown paper, then we drew our design and went back over it with vivid. Then the next day we dyed them with different colours. The photo you see is my Tapa Art.

Math Fractions, Decimals and Percentages

 At the end of lockdown my class started a new topic. The new topic was Fractions, Decimals and Percentages. My class were all shared a 7&8 Fractions site witch gave us all the challeges below. The challeges were all related to different topics witch were Learn, Create, Share. This blog post is accually my last task, Share, I have to post everything I have done to my blog. So here it is

What you need to become a Pilot in New Zealnad in 2021

 You must be at least 18 years old; Hold a current Private Pilot License; Hold a current Class 1 Medical Certificate; Have a minimum of 200 hours of flight time experience or if undertaking a course of approved training, 150 hours.

This week for my research card I Customized my own Shoes.

Rocket Launch

 

On Thurthday this week we started to test some 1.5 litre fizzy drink bottles on the rocket launcher. We got to choose the Variables (the PSI and the amount of water we had in the bottle) We used a bike pump and attached it to the launch frame. So far we found that 250mls of water and 50 psi with the fins was the best combination  and it flew about 70 metres in length. (which was the best one)
